Best Tire shop in Twin Cities – Been using Discount tire for about 5 years now. Swithced after numerous bad and unsafe experiences at the now defunct Tires Plus. I cannot say enough about the excellent service, low prices, free flat fixes etc. I have 6 cars, DT has probably fixed 8 flats for me the past 4 years. No problems either when I had 3 tires suffer road hazard damage and had to be replaced.
Don't Bother – I took my flat here to be patched. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with my tire, they filled it up and replaced it back on my car, on the wrong wheel and left my spare on. Lame. When my tire went flat a week later, I took it to Tires Plus and they actually fixed my tire.
RIP OFF – This store is ripping everyone off that does not know the con. For example, I came to the store asking them to check the front right tire for either a patch or a replacement. I filled the tire with air before going, so the tire did not look flat. They rolled out a tire with rips and said the only thing that could be done was to replace it. I paid the cost of replacement, only to discover the next morning the right front tire had as much air leaked out as the day before. With further inspection, I realized the tire ... read more
good experience – as far as customer service goes so far, has been better than other places I have been. I have had many sets of tires mounted by these guys. The only drawback from these guys is that they do not offer alignments. I cant figure this out. They are a tire store that will only mount, but not align. Doesn't this go against everything that they teach about tire maintenance to get the most out of your tires?
