I stopped at Discount Tire yesterday eve to have my tire checked, and they filled it with air so that I could come back in the morning to have the tire looked at. The next morning I came at 8am they put my car into the service bay immediately and discovered a screw in my tire, they patched the tire and had me back on the road in 45 minutes. Did I say they fixed the tire for FREE! Great service Great Crew Clean Shop and yes I strongly recommend this location.
They are awesome and truly care. Twice i have seen compassion in action there. I completely recommend this location for discount tire
I made an appointment with this Discount Tire location on 4226 N Roxboro for 2:45pm on Apr 17. It was for a nail in another tire. I would have gone to the one on 4400 Fayetteville but it was much further away from my workplace, and I have no desire to return to the Wake Forest location again for a 4.5-hour service. This business is quite professional. The quality products are evident. I have purchased tires snd services for three different vehicles v this month. One for my daughter-in-law and grandchildren who are constantly on the highway to Corpus Christi' the second set for my granddaughter who is a traveling nurse out of state in between assignments, and lastly for me when one of my tires began losing air and required total replacement. I had never used this store or Discount Tire before. I had a screw in my tire that was causing a slow leak with a second slow leak in a second tire.. I had scheduled an appointment at 3:15 pm online late the previous night. (Which by the way went very smoothly). Besides fixing the leaking tire I had scheduled a tire balance and rotation. Terrible service, rude treatment and left waiting while taking others that came in after me before....while other works were just standing around....worst discount tire I have ever been to!! AVOID!
I visited this Discount Tire location on Jan 19, 2026 to fix an issue with my tire: a stuck nail. After the terrible experience at the Wake Forest location (on 11212 Capital Blvd) that was a walk-in, I decided to make an appointment for this visit... the first time I had to do so. Called ahead was quoted a price for a spare tire by phone said I needed to place order in person with a deposit because they had to order the tire I needed-Was quoted $170.00 plus tax and mounting. I bought 4 wheel and tire combos for my 1998 GMC Seirra K1500 yesterday. When these were ordered I stressed to the salesman that I wanted glass bead weights inside the tires. Do not put external weights on the wheels. I was told we can do that. When the wheels and tires came in I was called by a store associate to schedule a appointment to put then on my truck.
