So disappointed in the way we were treated today at the local DAV thrift store here in NN, VA. We always stop in to see what furniture project I can find. Well in the meantime the boys have discovered a love of Beanie Babies....oh the 90’s. Well I didn’t realize the Chameleon Avery wanted did not have a price on it. Then, I was rudely told, in front of Avery, it’s their policy to not sell items without a price....cashier throws the item aside. Avery starts crying. This is the best thrift store I’ve ever been to. My family and I go there all the time and always find brand-new clothes with tags still on them for extremely cheap prices. We’ve bought tons of things there and will definitely keep going back. Being a DAV myself I already love the organization and love to help contribute to other DAV’s who need it
