I have been here many times in the past (last time was this summer) and it has always been clean. That being said today the wash was dirtier than my dog. The tub was clogged and draining onto the floor, it was caked in mud, there were huge clumps of nasty dog fur everywhere, the water was cold, there was no shampoo or towels. There were trash bags full of empty shampoo bottles on the side of the building like whoever empties the trash has been putting them there. UPDATE YOUR HOURS and I will gladly give you five stars! This place is nice and convenient and works for our large dog who is terrified of bathrooms. Except we came at 5 on a Sunday and they were closed. The hours on the internet read 6pm everyday. Get automatic locks or change your hours. It’s a pain when you go to all that trouble and can’t get in.
This place is an asset! I wasn't sure if the hours posted on Google were accurate, so texted to confirm and they got back to me promptly (Google hours are accurate). It was stocked with towels, shampoo, and the soap function on the nozzle worked fine. I had brought my own towels and shampoo just in case. My dog was *much* happier getting a warm shower vs the cold hose in the yard. Definitely recommend.
FRAUD ALERT: If I could give zero stars I would. I have been to this dog wash at least half a dozen times in the past year and it has NEVER NOT ONCE had shampoo. So you pay $10 for water, but you don't know if there's shampoo until AFTER your credit card is charged. THIS IS A SCAM. Save your money, take your pup down to the river and give them a good rinse.
Honestly I don't know what's up with all the shitty reviews...I would certainly pay $10 to bath my dog somewhere else & skip having to clean my whole bathroom/house afterwards We brought our own towel (as it states on the door) but there were extras. We also brought our own doggie shampoo just in case we wanted to use more, but the showerhead shampooer would have done fine.
