Ordered service to clean and inspect chimney. Shines light and says doesn't need cleaned. Okay. Looks at it and says looks good.. now wants $175? What about top cap? It's good... Like seriously not a service I plan to ever use again. Get a drone or get up there and inspect. Later to find out it is not so good. No follow up on HVAC request either. You would be better off to diy or ask a handyman to watch a YouTube to do it.
I don't like leaving negative reviews even if slightly negative on local businesses, but this was not a great experience, and this is an honest review of the service I received. I waited two weeks before leaving this 4-star review to see if the company would follow through on what they said they would do. I waffled between 3 and 4 stars here. I’ll say 3.5/5. I wish I would’ve done this when we moved in! Both my husband and I suffered with allergies all year long and my eyes haven’t watered since our ducts were cleaned! I recommend everyone do this, especially with Dirty Ducts! Our technician was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. 10/10
We called several company’s. Dirty Ducts had the best price and was available the next day. They arrived at the exact time they stated and did an excellent job cleaning our entire vent system that had not been cleaned in 25 years. They also sprayed oder and fungus killer in the system. Great great job.
