I read the reviews about billing and I understand it is daunting it will be for me too trust me but…despite being medical it’s a business. My experience has been quite positive the office team was quite friendly and Dr Dirksen was very patient and understanding as it’s such a difficult thing to wrap your head around when it’s the “mind” and learning. Please DO NOT bring your child here. They are scamers. I wish I read the reviews. They demand you pay them in order to release your child's report before the insurance even has a chance to file the claims. Which is ILLEGAL!! My insurance company said they cannot ask for money before the claim in finalized. Blue cross blue shield had to call dirksen center and tell them to release the report. Mind you I did not owe anything!! My insurance company paid them. Please call your insurance company if this place is asking you to pay... read more

We have been through so much with our child and it was a relief to finally get the help we needed. Dr Dirksen and her team did a thorough amazing job we are forever grateful for their services .thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts we appreciate you.

The center does their job week enough they assess my child for autism. However, withheld the diagnosis report until they got paid by the insurance company. Obviously thing would be for their billing department to work for the client and get paid, so my child could the receive care he requires. Only after stressing for a month did the dirksen center agree to release the needed information.

Dirksen Center for Neurology only cares about money. I’ve told them that my child wears hearing aids and they wasted a 3 hour visit, by having a therapist who was sick and wearing a mask, administer tests. My child couldn’t hear her. Furthermore, it took them 8 weeks to generate a report, which they did not provide me with until they receive full payment from my BCBS insurance.
