I would like to speak about several problems I experienced related to my Daikin Heat pumps. Dirigo Performance Heat Pumps, bangor, Maine is the only company I have used, to install and service the machines. I selected that company because they are local. Two years after purchasing the units they stopped working and would not heat our house in winter. The error codes on the machine indicated low refrigerant. While trying to choose a company to install a heat pump, I knew I didn't want to hire someone who only does heat pumps on the side; I wanted someone who primarily does them, and Ed was recommended to me. Ed did an amazing job. He was thorough in the installation and was able to answer my many questions and concerns. The heat pump is working beautifully and actually is heating more rooms then I expected. ( I have a big house). I'd highly recommend him.
