So disappointing. My daughter was reffered to this psychologist. We made an appointment with a doctor, they had to be reminded to send me through the necessary paperwork and called me saying I missed my 10am appointment when it was in fact a 3pm appointment. Very unprofessional. Once at the appointment I spent 45 mins with the doctor explaining background information for her to tell me she in fact does not work with children my daughters age!? If you go there hoping to get a fomal diagnoses for high-functioning Autism and might need a little help from society, I wouldn't recommend trying to get diagnosed. According to the clinic, the DSM assessment they follow only checks for 'clinically relevant levels of Autism', the standards of which might not take your personal situation on board accurately and thoroughly enough, meaning you might leave without an Autism diagnoses at all, even if they say 'you were Autistic as a child', and they feel you somehow grew out of i... read more
