Direct Buy conned us on the idea of being able to buy products at cost by avoiding the middle man retailers. They assured us that we would get a minimum of 10% discount on almost all of our daily purchases. The sales pitch starts out by asking how much we purchase on a monthly bases and then goes on to show how much we will save if we join. After inquiring about a few products to verify their discounts were real, they promptly replied by showing us substantial savings. I will never do business with these rude people. They continue to harrass us with telemarketers even after we have repeatedly told them not to call us again. They don't appologize, they just hang up on us when we remind them that we are on the Do Not Call list, and then call us again a month later.
We were called on our cells, we agreed to come in to see what they offer at 1:30. We arrived at 1:31. We were told we were not on the list and that we would have to call and reschedule because we were late. They did not tell us over the phone we had to be 15 minutes early. We do not live in Huntsville so this was an interruption in our day. And we too are on the 'do not call list.' How did they get our cell numbers anyway? Shady and rude. Don't do business with these folks!
Candi Smith only gave one star because I couldn't give them no stars we were told we would be given a 30% discount on our Verizon bill which is not true and no one will admit to telling us that we were not told about shipping prices items are the same prices at stores on sale the so called owner Chris is a very hateful person is very rude we were also financed through a finance company who refuses to return any of my calls they also have a F with the BBB they won't give me an account number for my loan payments or any kind o... read more
There is a reason their rating with the BBB is F. If you get a call from DirectBuy, hang up. I do not know how they got our phone number but we acutally feel for it and went to an "open house"; bad mistake. When we told them we did not want to make that decision on the spot the sales person got rather rude and downright insulting. No wonder he was working there, no one else would hire the jerk.
