If you are building a new home then you will save money from membership. The products they offer are mid to high end products, no cheap discount store stuff. We joined before we built a new house so it was worth it to us, we did save money but for the casual shopper it probably isn't.

Its nothing but a big SCAM!!!! Very hi-pressure sales tactic. Tried to cancel and everyone at the little rock store and corporate was very rude. I was actually hung up on by both places and treated like an idiot. I would not recommend this to anyone!!!! This has to be the worst business and business practices that i have ever seen from a national chain company.

We have been members since 2007. We originally joined because we were building a house and were certain we could increase our savings by becoming members. We saved a lot of money on items purchased during the construction of our home as well as on furnishings after we moved in to the house. We have stayed members after our initial membership period because we continue to benefit from the savings. In February, we completed construction on another house and the savings was the same. Don't waste Your time like we did--They seem to have just enough positve exsperences to use for adverstising. We found most items just as cheap retail--Washer, Dryer, Fridge. We we told we had 4 year membership---turned out to be just 3-----should be lifetime---that's how long it would take for the average person to save a dime

don't waste your time. looked at multiple items that were higher at Direct than retail.. long sales pitch and when we politely declined they were rude..
