I came in because I was experiencing symptoms that were frightening to me and I was looking for medical guidance. When Dr. Deakins entered the room, he repeatedly demanded that I tell him what was wrong with me. I tried to explain that I didn’t know what was wrong—that was exactly why I was seeking medical care—and that I couldn’t interpret the test results myself.
