If you are ever looking for a videographer, photographer, DJ, or photobooth, I would HIGHLY discourage the use of Direct Entertainment. We are extremely displeased with the quality of the wedding video edit we received from them, but even worse has been the communication of the owner, Jim Firth. He has been combative, rude, and dismissive of my and my mother's concerns. If you are looking for quality customer service as well as a high quality wedding video edit, I'd highly encourage you to look elsewhere.
The first steps of connecting with our DJ, requesting songs and paying the company was fine. They have many good reviews so we took a chance and hired them but it was a mistake. Our DJ was completely awful. Our DJ was unprepared, unprofessional and depressing. The reason we had a DJ for our outdoor wedding was to have a wireless mic on the officiant.
