My family and I are disappointed at the fact that Mrs Ortiz seems to be promoting her own ideas vs what is best to heal an emotional family and coping with our child’s compulsive disorder. She has had individual sessions with both my stepson and my wife yet when our son asked on his own wishes to have a whole family meeting to get all of us on the same page, Mrs Ortiz refused his wishes. Lack of objectivity. Does not agree with family therapy and persuades clients to do what she thinks it is best. She talks to your children about you (parent) and advises children to leave their home if they are not happy instead of promoting family therapy to solve relationship issues. Has her own agenda not what it is best for the family. Not a family therapist oriented.

Would not recommend to others.
Dr. Ortiz is the best, we have been coming with her since 2021 and our life has changed drastically since then. She is very sweet, very nice and always guides us for the best.
