I wish there was a NO star review. This guy could quite possibly be the worst attorney in the area. I was taken for $9,000. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was done for $9,000. They took my bank statements and forwarded them to opposing counsel. AND DID IT WRONG!! Only sent every other page. In three months, for $9,000, he couldn’t negotiate temporary visitation. Awful. I turned to DiPietro when i had a court date and had little time. They charged me over $40,000 to prepare for the case. I asked several times to speak to someone and never received a call from anyone other than the lawyer they assigned me. Now he has left the practice and they are refusing to contact me about my case. I have asked for files and whatever can be provided without a response. This is after me waiting weeks for them to contact me regarding a path forward as they had told me they would do via an email.
I hired John P Lavinus and he is the worst lawyer ever, I regret every moment I worked with him, all he cares about the money. He end up losing my case because of some mistakes he did during the hearing and preparation. I didnt have any experience working with lawyers so I wasn't sure if he's screwing up or not until it was the hearing date. It was a big mistake that I hired him. i Wouldn't recommend this lawyer to anyone.
John Lavinus is a great lawyer. He was very professional and patient with a very complex family case. I respect his brilliance and tact providing legal guidance and pursuit of the best possible outcome in trial. Thank you.
I retained John Paul Lavinus at DiPietro Law Group after going through multiple attorneys who in one way or another failed to deliver while going through a miserable divorce with my ex-husband who I realized is a Narcissist. And as soon as John took over, I started to feel a sigh of relief not only because of his diligence and professionalism but also his understanding of the motives and malicious maneuvers of the opposing side.
