Affordable veggie option! So many shabu places charge a lot for the veggie option but this one was fair in price. The spicy miso was good and actually spicy. Their veggies were fresh and good variety. We will be going back!

This place is good! Updated from 2stars, we go twice a month and the meats are good. Update: this place is closing down on 3/3. Very sad and they'll be missed. In the rumor mill, they've been sold out to another restaurant. Serving shabu in the am and tapas at night. Lot's of renovations happening in the summer, I assume the new place will open later this year. Still going to miss Dip, inconsistent meats, sometimes amazing and just okay. Regardless, you'll be missed.

We've been here about a dozen times. Service, food and hospitality have always been great. Not a sports fan so I'm not into the entertainment on the large screen TVs. Music is typically EDM but not loud. Restaurant is always clean. Friday and Saturday nights are always busy but queue times are reasonable. We generally go during the week and get seated immediately. We will continue to patronize Dip for the foreseeable future.

I have been going this restaurant for many yrs, however for the last 3 -4 visits in recent weeks , people work in the kitchen & waitress are all replaced with new inexperienced people. Their meats are not in good quality with horrible cut & service is not as good as before. $110 for two person for shabu shabu dinner is definitely not worth for this restaurant. Suggest find other alternatives in south st.
