Absolutely do NOT recommend coming here if you have curly or textured hair. My mother had been growing her hair for years and was extremely proud of the length and progress she had achieved. She clearly asked for only a very small amount to be taken off, but instead, a significant amount of her hair was cut off. Absolutely don’t recommend coming here if you have curly hair. My mother had an Afro long hair and she asked for a quarter inch off, suddenly her long precious hair touching her hips was cut to her shoulder. When she realized she got up and said this is fine, I’m leaving. She payed and went to her car and started crying. Because the progress of her hair for years letting it grow out was suddenly gone. If you can’t cut curly hair. Say it.

I called ahead before coming in. When I arrived and requested a wash and set, the owner and two stylists gathered around me and spoke in Spanish for approximately two minutes before informing me that they could not accommodate the service because my hair is curly.
