booked in for an oil change a week in advance, took an afternoon off to take it in. I live 30 min out of town, drove in and dropped off, went for a walk, had dinner, walked some more, had coffee.... still no call. walked into the place 20 min before close and my vehicle wasnt even in yet. They said the 5 min power outage was the reason they didnt get the servince done in the 3-4 hours they had it. Now I need to take yet another day off work and rebook again sometime next week..... very dissapointed, will never use this place... read more
Sales side great. Mechanical side not so great. I had a bad experience and am still having a bad experience.
Had a problem with my Ford Lightning stuck on a charger in Kenora. I was running low on battery and no heat in -28 degree cold. Ford Roadside assistance was literally zero help. Called Dingwall Ford to see if they had any idea. Andrea took the call and was a great help. She put me in touch with Justin, a service tech, who also tried on the phone but we couldn't get it resolved. Justin ended up jumping in his truck and came out to help me in the freezing cold and worked to get me unstuck (after hours by the way). Then he stay... read more
Staff at the Service Desks are condescending and demeaning. They’re reluctant to even book an appointment to fix anything on warranty, saying the problems must be “user error”. They continued to degrade us until a Tech acknowledged the problem as legitimate.
Terrible customer service. Driving from Ontario to Alberta we ran into truck problems where the heat stopped working. We called dingwall ford to see if they had time to fit us in and take a look at the truck. The service rep Andrea was absolutely awful to deal with and needs additional training. As you can probably tell from numerous bad reviews left below. While I’m grateful they could fit us in the next day I am not happy with the way my father was treated.
