Beautiful scenery, great service and impeccable rooms
Went there for a wedding reception. Found it ridiculous to have 2 portable toilets for the guests and only 18 chairs set up for the service. Lighting was bad at night to go back to the car. No heating in the reception hall. Stable area was nice though.
My wife and I enjoyed two wonderful nights in the Gum Tree Lodge at Ding Dang Doo estate. The perfect spot to disapear from the world. Our host was excellent, preparing us with detailed instructions to see us arrive and get in with no fuss at all. Even when mother nature turned on the wind and a loss of power hit the area, we felt totally safe and comfortable in the tent and even more so when Carla called to offer us a night in one of the estate buildings if we so desired.
