One of the worst mechanic i have ever been to. booked for a service and replacing leaf spring bushes, ended up taking out my tailshaft and remove the dampener because of his '' experience '' with that kind of car and replaced my brand new wipers for no obvious reason by some junk one. Drove the car out of this place with more problems than when i drove in. When i bring the car back Doug was not able to fix what he did wrong and try to sell me a brand new tailshaft. Paid premium price for not a premium job.
Best experience I've had at a mechanic. I woke up after spending the night in Hamilton to a slight oil leak. They managed to get us in immediately and fixed in 30 mins for a very reasonable price. Couldn't recommend any higher.
Doug and the team went above expectations when I called out the blue to rectify an airbag issue. 5 stars all the way
Honesty, Integrity and Fair Dinkum Good Service! Dimms put a Dayco replacement timing belt kit in my Ford Territory and the new Dayco water pump leaked. (Really not a good thing) Dayco would not honour their warranty and there was no compensation from them at all. Dimms did the right thing, at their own expense, and replaced the whole timing belt kit and bore their own labour costs without even being asked to do so. Took my 98 vtss here for a sump gasket replacement had my car for 9 straight days not sure why they didn't look to over busy ,not long after that i took my car here for a service just a oil change is all I asked for , got a invoice back for $500 for the oil change , but then the little white bearded man who owns this place thought he would swap over the exhaust sensors because my engine light comes on , well guess what this has been like this for 12 yrs and has never been a problem but you decided to do it with out asking me... read more
