I had a giant pituitary adenoma diagnosed and removed by Dr. Placantonakis and his team at NYU Langone. I could not have asked for a more caring, patient and competent neurosurgeon. Dr. Placantonakis and his team were able to remove the entire tumor without any issues, despite it being a complicated almost 11 hour surgery. Dr. P is the sweetest angel! He’s very positive and warm. I had a bad condition and I was sad! He told me I was gonna be ok, added me into his busy Neurosurgery schedule and saved my life.
