The scenery!! Wow. Right on the river. We stayed in the Nantatuck. Hear the sounds of the river all day, while sitting on your private deck area. The rooms are older/antique style and vintage looking. The friendliness of the staff was top notch! Very relaxing trip. Pet friendly. There are places to grill out with picnic tables, you can fish, swim in the river, or just sit on many of the outdoor benches or chairs. You can't beat the location. 20 minutes to other towns, like Bryson City. We will definitely be back!
Best kept secret in western NC Jennifer nailed it too. Completely Restful, country first class, friendly, owner lives on premises and make you feel like family. Very secure location, Marine Corps spotless inside and out. Read detailed description of each suite on line. On a 1 to 5 scale, it is a 10.
