Dr A is the man!!!!!!!!! Can’t thank him and his staff along with the surgical staff at Palm Bch Ortho. Was passing through West Palm on my way out of the country and got a stupid splinter that was way too deep for even the ER to get out. They referred me to Dr A and he squeezed me in for a consult last minute and surgery the very next day 18 hours before my flight out of the country. Dr. Abeyewardene is an amazing and kind doctor. I had to have emergency surgery for a compound fracture of my right wrist and it was a real mess. After just seven weeks I am amazed at how well I am healing. He and his nurses are so skilled and kind I would recommend him to anyone with any hand injury.

Dr. A., as he is commonly referred to is a sharp, thoughtful, intelligent doctor. He is a good listener and makes an informed decision and presents options and his opinion on those options. I have RA and he recommended Exosome therapy for a partially torn tendon in my wrist. I had to pay out of pocket because it’s not covered by insurance. I trusted him when he suggested this. The doctor’s office was not very cooperative and provided limited assistance in connecting us with a cashless insurance facility. The waiting time was excessively long and far beyond expectations.
