I had my last specialist appt Wednesday at this location. Unfortunately due to the availability with the holiday next week I have to go to Mercy Gilbert Location which is okay (it was my availability too) I have so many good things to say about the Thomas Phoenix location. Right when you check in at the front office the girls are so sweet & kind they are amazing! The MA’s, ultrasound techs, the doctors everyone here is seriously the best! They took such good care of us. We aren’t established patients and came in through the ER, and the staff got us taken care of so quickly. It felt like they cared about me and my baby. I feel safe under their care.
I was referred to them by my OB because the genetic blood test came back for triple X syndrome. I went and everything was perfect my babygirl Ivy was moving all around and measuring right on track. I sat with the doctor face to face with her student in the room also and she looked me in my eyes and said “you have nothing to worry about I would consider your pregnancy a normal pregnancy” Fast forward to the 17th of this month my sweet Ivy passed away stillborn at 21 weeks. I was referred to the high risk doctor for a detailed anatomy scan. When I got there everything was great, and my baby was beautiful. After about 40-50 minutes, the ultrasound tech, NOT the doctor, told me “I’m sorry but something is wrong with his legs” she left the room to get Dr. Wiener, when the doctor came back they proceeded to look at my baby again and then the doctor basically told me my son is missing a bone in his leg, that they have no idea which bone but in his “medical opinion” he has his fibula bone.
