I was seen by Katrina Campion, NP. She was extremely thorough, professional and determined to provide a diagnosis for my condition, explaining the tests and possible causes. I would highly recommend her to others.
I recently switched to Medicare with supplemental insurance and was told they couldn't cover me because I was out of network. Whatever Medicare didn't pay I would have to. Even with a rep from my supplemental on the phone saying I was covered they still were adamant that I would have to pay extra for my check up. After 15 years I'm sorry to say I have to leave the practice.
I have had an endoscopy at another surgery unit and my experience was very different from what I experienced here. The woman at the desk getting the paperwork done was pleasant. The wait was not very long and the nurse who took my info was very sweet. I was then placed in what I would describe as a hallway of sorts. I was left there for about 10 or 15 mins. The front desk is very rude with patient. I was told to hurry up and give a response because the person I was speaking to was busy. I work with customers if I ever answered the phone and told them to hurry because I was busy I would be fired. Me being busy does not concern my customer.
My second colonoscopy with Dr. Gingold and just like the first time, I had a great experience and the staff were great! Setting my appointment, getting the instructions on how to prep and an email with very detailed instructions. I was greeted promptly and sat with the intake coordinator who reviewed everything with me. My information was checked about twice, which was great!
