Dr Hassan was assigned my case while i was inpatient at St Lukes. He was rude, terrible, and seemed like he didn’t have any knowledge of me or my case and that I was a huge inconvenience. Mind you, i had just had a scan and potentially had GI cancer. This was literally some of my worst days and he couldn’t be bothered to be kind and didn’t see the need for the testing that all my hospitalists had previously agreed was medically necessary. The reason I didn't do the procedure was because they never told me not to stop eating or drinking the night before so I decided not to reschedule because if they can't tell me the most basic part I don't trust them to do the complicated part.Also he was supposed to call my heart doctor and to see if I needed to stop taking my blood thinner medicine do the procedure. He said he did and my doctor said it was fine. Come to find out he never did. And my doctor said it's a good i didn't get the procedure because that would been ... read more

Very very rude initial contact. Very impatient and cold. Wouldn't recommend if you want gentle treatment. The receptionist was not very nice at all
Dr. Hassan is a wonderful doctor. He is kind, caring and smart. He explains things in a way you can understand and he is always supportive of how you feel. I believe he is an expert in understanding the human experience concerning your health. I feel blessed to have him as a doctor. Thanks Dr. Hassan so very much.
