I had to heckle the doctor for weeks to get any follow up on my testing. Then when the basic tests they did looked normal, they made zero recommendations. Completely useless
Everyone was extremely professional and friendly....from the receptionist to the nursing staff. Made an extremely uncomfortable procedure much more tolerable....the entire staff made me more relaxed. Kudos to all!
TLDR: Dr. Elbaum is booked out but one of the best there. No issues with him. The staff says they'll communicate with insurance but doesn't (or least my insurance never received anything). Doctor that I never had before but had to go to for insurance reasons was way behind schedule but still allowed appts with no time frame given (past regular appt time to where one can legally leave the office without being penalized per research, yet still penalized stating i was a no show despite seeing the MA and being checked in). My husband was told he should get help within 4 hrs or he could die. Was at ER for 3hrs left and called Dr.Ibrahim who said he should go to emergency again. No help at all. My husband is 68 and extreme gerd and gastropsresis..No compassion from this Dr.perhaps he never experienced pain but will discharge a patient when they tell the truth. With all these reviews can anyone recommend a good GI Dr.?
Called for help with heavy duty stomach issue. Called the 1st time and got Nurse triage and the girl says can I help you, in such a way that it was demeaning. I finally got a nurse that was respectful and tried her best. She said she would send my message back to the Dr. almost 3hrs. Later they call and say the Dr. Rahl said to take 2 Laxative pills with lots of water, after I had already taken heavier stuff before this and that did not do anything.
