Exceptionally good food and service.
This deli in the heart of downtown does not disappoint. We were very happy we took their advice and got the brisket sandwich, it was wonderful! The original building from 1910 with a film history also added to the whole atmosphere.
Been meaning to make a pilgrimage from Eugene to get a sandwich from this spot and I’m so glad they did! The owner is friendly and clearly passionate about making great food. The Italian sub was delicious and he made two plain grilled cheeses for my kids. Plus free chips with the sandwich. The salads at the deli looked great, will try them next time!
Great place to grab lunch when you don’t have time to make, or take your own lunch to work. I love the Reuben, or the Turkado is a unique Italian style option. Never have to wait very long, with small town service consistently serving fresh food is clearly problem here. I’ve gotten pretty old lettuce in my turkado, you can’t hide it when your food isn’t fresh. Also prices are pretty high, however think of the convenience of not having to make a lunch for yourself.
