I had my first appointment and working through my first week. Raylan was great working with me on my blood pressure, my metabolism testing , & labwork. Maria was very informative and made suggestions. I am 55 years old with Rheumatoid Arthritis & Hypertesion that was a gift from Covid 3 years ago. I can’t thank them enough. I was full on diabetic and high cholesterol and was heading down a life of medication and misery. I knew something was wrong as I was miserable and the ripe old age of 54. I asked my doctor what can I do? I don’t want this life. She referred me to Diet of Hope. 6 months of diet correction and I have lost over 75 lbs and ALL of my statistics are completely normal. I am no longer diabetic, my cholesterol is normal, my fatty liver is now normal and my A1C is normal. They helped me restore my life.
The program & clinician are good overall. HOWEVER there customer service with scheduled appointments is TERRIBLE! Waited today for over half over before I inquired about the delay. Finally told I wouldn't be seen for another 15-20 minutes. They should have advised this at check-in or better yet made a courtesy call.. I have cancelled all future appointments...
At the suggestion of my primary provider, I went through DofH's program in 2016. As of today in 2024, all the benefits of the program continue. I drop by occaisionally just to say Hi! Sad Dr Gann passed last year. He was great both in this capacity and his prior 30+ years as a heart surgeon. And Elizabeth continues the good work the two of them developed.
