This was our second visit, A wonderful place to stay. Small, quiet village, close to all the highlights of the Amana Colonies. Our hosts John and Karin, are very enjoyable and make you feel at home. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. And the breakfast! A wonderful country breakfast meant to prepare the cowboy in you for a hard days work. We looking forward to our next stay.

Our stay at "Die Heimat Country Inn" was a very pleasant experience for us! The room was great, the people were friendly and the breakfast was fantastic! This is a nice, quiet place, and we highly recommend it.

The Inn met our expectations in every way except for room service. Even with only a two night stay, it would have helped to get clean glasses/cups, emptied garbage,and clean towels. The small (but comfortable) room quickly. became cluttered with 4 adults, the garbage and dirty dishes. It was a busy weekend could have been an oversight. The grounds were gorgeous, great breakfast, and wonderful people who worked there. So accommodating. Great location. I would definitely go again.
