In 1933, Anthony DiCola Sr. began DiCola Centrella, a grocery store and market. His son Anthony DiCola Jr. worked at his father’s grocery as a young man. During World War II, Anthony Jr., at the age of 22, joined the army. Having survived five major battles, he received the Bronze Star for meritorious service, and returned home. This is an excellent seafood carryout resturant. This is not my first visit. We make it a point to stop by each time we are in the Chicago Area. I am partial to shrimp, my husband to shrimp and fish. We find this is the place to eat. We have found none better. Great Place.
