I was in search of a display shoe and Lucas searched up in down extensively for the missing pair, since that was the only one left in the size I needed. He couldn’t locate it but I was able to order the size I needed through the store with Kyle while still getting the sale price and receiving free shipping. I got my shoes 2 days later. Very happy with this locations staff and their attention to detail, thank you Lucas and Kyle.
I was in a bind with providing some last minute things needed for an Assisted Living facility. I needed pom poms within a day. After calling several places that had them, they wouldn’t be arriving on time. I called Dick’s Sporting in Bend and spoke to the Manager Kyle. He was so pleasant and kind with doing ever possible to get the Pom poms and knew he had a few but needed to find them. He went above and beyond to make it happen. Looking for a paddle board, and some camping gear. Great selection, but couldn't find anyone to help us. Prices weren't competitive, so were going to check a few other places.
Went in for a couple of baseball mitts. Was not impressed with the level of knowledge of the young man who helped us. When I asked about the differences in gloves he didn't have much to say other than "its a matter of preference"... O.k. but what details make a person prefer this feature or that feature? All answers where vague and it was clear he knew little about the mitts although was certainly not willing to state that. Not surprising these days I guess.
