RecommendedI went here to get a speedometer cable made. They refused to take my money, 4 days later I broke it and went back to get 2 more made, once again wouldn't take payment. The way I saw them interact with customers was amazing, they treated everyone with respect and kindness, something you don't see often anymore in the retail world. I highly recommend this business and know they won't let you down. Next time I'm in town I hope to have the chance to stop by.
Fixed it the right way Russ at Dick's Speed-O-Tach was a great help with a couple of gauges in my instrument cluster and they got the work done very fast! They were very straightforward with what needed to be done and didn't charge an arm and a leg to do the work. Very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.
This place is a joke. The owner who answers the phone is a complete *******. I had my cluster sent to them from NAPA in Apache Junction. They were given details and instructions to call NAPA to verify pricing before any work was done. Get call from NAPA saying that after tax it’s nearly $100 more than what i was quoted. Here’s the big kicker. The work was already completed so it’s not like i can say no and just go buy a new part cheaper and wait a few days. **** ********** was NOT our customer, NAPA was,The part came from them and they approved the work to be done. If he needed a price before it was fixed - that was between He and Napa. MY CUSTOMER - NAPA ,was aware of the time and cost. When Mr Valenzuela called my shop he was indignant and I don't speak kindly to someone (who is not my customer) that threatens to come and beat the F*** out of me. I take that as a personal threat and I will contact the Tempe Police Department if necessary.
Warning warning danger!! The Tempe shop should be ashamed of themselves....oh wait, that would mean having good business ethics, concern for the customer, and good moral and standards. Something this business does not have. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE TEMPE SHOP. I guess being a female through them off. I know a bit about my vehicle and know enough to realize when I am being lied to. Shame on you Jerry & Russ.
Very BAD Service Dropped off a new Ford speedo cable and wanted a longer one made. They quoted me $48.00 and said I could wait while it was being made. When I went there, they were short handed and asked me to come back tomorrow. So, the next day I made another trip to Dicks and the cable was not finished and was asked to return the next afternoon. No Warranty, No Refund, BAD SERVICE ALL AROUND I have a lifted 2000 Dodge Ram and went here to get the speedometer corrected for my larger tires. The end invoice total was over 500.00 dollars and whatever they put in my truck caused the brake light and ABS light to come on in my dash. I went in to ask them about it and they told me that they were'nt going to do anything for my issue and that I was to leave and not come back.I requested to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner and to, "get the hell out of here".
