Patterson Lake Rec area. Keeps the park open all winter and only charges to be in the park during the nice time of year, they charge people to camp and boat, someone walking path isn’t using your facilities. Gross practices. Either charge EVERYONE ALL YEAR and close the gates if you’re not going take money, or just charge the people actually using the park facilities and not just the walking path. Also lady working on site claims not to be part of parks and rec.
We reserved a camping spot a month in advance. We traveled over 12 hours to get there and someone else was in our camping spot that refused to leave. I called multiple times when we arrived and left messages. I have yet to hear back and its been over 2 weeks. I finally emailed them and they said they'll "look into it". We had to find other accommodations after I planned a huge road trip across the country. Totally unacceptable.
