I hate gas station food, but this was def the better choices if I had to have it again. Also had great Mexican food, surf n turf burrito
The brisket was tough not worth the price
I stopped in to get a couple of brisket sandwiches to go on 3/31/26, early afternoon. There was only one other customer there. I've had their sandwiches before and they were good- hot juicy and flavorful. Not this time. They were barely warm, dry and chewy. If I hadn't been on the road I would have returned the. Not worth $30 (with tip). Sorry.
The bbq was not cold, but it was not hot, more like between warm and hot. It was still edible but I think customers would like it at a warmer to hot food temperature. I had the ribs, which was a little to salty and so was the fried okra. The service didn't seem very friendly. They did great me well when I arrived, but not to much after that. Their soda machine was not dispensing soda correctly and was working. The dining room was clean and straight.
