Follow up edit 8/26/25: I received a notification from Google that someone had reacted to my review. This notification arrived over this past weekend. Edit: My initial review was pretty harsh and I didn't state much of anything positive. This was a genuine disaster. I like Dickey's. I signed up for their loyalty rewards program. I downloaded the app. I permitted text messages. The food and service has always been great. Until the following. On Saturday 8/16/25 at 11:03 AM I received an amazing text message, "Dickey's: FREE Chicken or Pulled Pork Sandwich w/purchase of a Big Yellow Cup." I thought, wow, that's an amazing offer. Best BBQ I have ever had in Delaware.
Found the place on a trip to metaltown was a little surprised to see how good the food was.Definitely we'll be back
Had pulled pork special including ff and coke. The staff were both helpful and friendly. The only small disappointment we had was they were out of vinegar for ff. Would definitely go again, every day is a different special.
