You walk in to an antiquated, dark, dingy poorly lit restaurant. It’s like eating in your friends basement. You can smell the smoke but when you eat the flavor isn’t there. Placed the order and dealt with the pissed off guy at the register (should’ve been my first clue). I should’ve cut my losses and walked out but nope I stayed. Food: The ribs were like shoe leather. Great food worth drive from Hales Corners
My recent experience at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was deeply disappointing, especially as someone who has genuinely enjoyed the brand in the past. The location I visited did not reflect the standards I once associated with Dickey’s. The interior was dimly lit, cluttered with merchandise piled near the entrance, and lacked the warm, inviting atmosphere one expects from a traditional barbecue restaurant. From out of town and stopped in at this place. Phenomenal food, the entire meal was delicious and filled me us. And free ice cream!! Can’t beat that
