I would like to express to whoever is reading this review that I have never wrote a negative review in my life. I may have put 4 stars down. But never anything lower I understand reviews that are negative. They do not help a person and I am very empathetic towards that. I went to her Dr. Jackson in January 2024. I couldn't agree more in conjunction with all of the HORRENDOUS reviews this Dermatologist Diane M Jackson- Richard's has been given. She has terrible, absolutely terrible patient care. Why has Henry Ford continued to keep this physician on as long as they have behoove me. She lacks empathy with her patients! She is extremely curt and rude! She is very dismissive of patient concerns! She lacks tact! She definitely demonstrates "psychopathic" tendencies. Dr. Richards was very attentive and went out of her way to direct me to the issues I had. She was very professional.
Dr. Jackson does not have a great bedside manner. In general, I give up on dermatology. My son has suffered with eczema his whole life. Every time we use sunscreen, or other cosmetic products he has a horrible breakout. We have seen two derms now who say… “keep testing products on his skin”. Glad I paid hundreds of dollars for advice on something I’ve been doing for last 13 years with no luck. The idea was mentioned we could do a patch test and that was useless too. Unbelievable! Spent about 8 minutes and all she did was write a scrip that I needed to make in order to get it. Showed her my badly scarred chest that another doctor did at this same location! Told me nothing would help even if I got light treatment! Maybe, but just walked out! I was floored!! All she said was I have sun damage!
