Diane refused to send a refill for my non-controlled medication, for which she had been seeing me monthly for 6+months (to the tune of 300+ out of pocket per session), so that I could have enough medication to see my new PCP two weeks out. She texted me to say she couldn't provide a refill if she would no longer be seeing me, ended it with "this isn't how you end a professional relationship." After years of therapists and psychiatrists all with great credentials I've finally found an NP not only with all the important discussion and prescribing skills but also able/willing to think out side the box. I appreciated her collaborating with my GP doctor. In the very rough period when my partner died Diane Johnston did more than just prescribe. My career was crumbling as well. She's a sharp, careful and caring listener. But also will tell you what she thinks. I highly recommend this pro.
