Honestly, I don't think the 1 star is deserved. I had recently moved back to Houston from out of state and was quite verbose about my situation when she interviewed me. During the process, she was quite curt and impolite, interrupting me while attempting to answer her questions. A year and a half later, I receive a bill from the IRS that I owe them $172 for improper out of state tax statements. Had been looking for a local accountant for tax preparation and after asking many friends and colleagues I was surprised to learn how little satisfaction people had with their CPA's. After much internet research I chose Diane Halloway based on experience and location, and called and was treated in a very courteous and professional way by staff at both Baytown and Clear Lake/Webster office. My meeting with Diane Halloway in Webster was very productive and enjoyable and I highly recommend her services.
We moved to this area this year and were looking for a local CPA to do our taxes. There are literally no reviews on any local CPAs on Yelp or Google, for this area at least, so I chose Diane at random. I walked in without an appointment and she was in between appointments luckily, so I was seen straight away.
