Dr. Africk treated my son years ago.She is a wonderful doctor. All questions were answered and always followed up with results.He is an adult now and he would be a patient for the rest of his life if she also treated adults.I would like to refer her a friend but I can’t seem to find her.No longer at Oschner.If anyone knows where she is practicing please email me at edwardsdio79@gmail. comThanks
I'll follow her to space if that's where she decided to practice. My child has seizures you wouldn't even know , I believe because of this doctor and my child's will , we've come as far as we have. Ochsner themselves is not my favorite place, but she is an amazing doctor and human being and knows how to be both at the same time, that is important!
Literally the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Nice in person but never answers questions or responds to messages. Zero follow up from test results.
The BEST! Her empathy for special needs children is unmatched!! I have followed her from another Hospital to Ochsner and I would follow her to the end of the earth!!
Horrible! After waiting 2 months for an appt for my grandson after he had a seizure, she ordered an MRI. Here we are, 2 months AFTER the MRI and she will not return calls regarding the results. Not even her nurse. The results were posted at myochsner.org but shouldn't the doctor call with a follow up and plan for a child who is experiencing seizures?!?! She acted like she cared at the one and only appt but obviously she's incompetent. Maybe she's too old and need to retire.
