I came from out of state to be seen at Duke, and I cannot sing Dr. Peacock’s praises loud enough. She is truly the best doctor there is and I always feel and have felt extremely taken care of, heard, and cared about. She listens intently. I never once felt rushed. I had a consult with Dr. Peacock. She gave me plenty of time and attention. She is intelligent and extremely caring. My case is very difficult and confusing, but Dr. Peacock dug in like a detective, trying to put all the pieces together to help me. After I left she continued to gather information to help me and called me with her conclusions. I have not experienced many doctors that cared enough to do all that. She is amazing.

I do not recommend Dr. Peacock. From the very beginning of my treatment, I felt rushed, unheard, and uninformed. During my initial consultation, I was not given a thorough explanation of radiotherapy or my treatment options. Instead, I was handed a packet and expected to review the information on my own. Great bedside manners, professionalism is above superior. Dr. Peacock was very thorough in explaining what was going on with me and all procedures that she would be doing. On a scale of 1-10, she is a 50.
