Unfortunately, my experience at the Sterling Sams Club location for an eye exam wasn't great. She wasn't very welcoming and could have been more helpful when we had issues checking in, instead of just staring us down. We were also disappointed when receiving an unprofessional email regarding an issue with our insurance. Do not recommend.
Check with the state regulatory board before you come within 10 feet of Dr. Tran.
I’ve been going to this specific optometrist office for 7 years. This practice used to be fantastic when it was owned by Dr. Rose. This was my first experience with Dr. Tran and it will be my last (Fredericksburg location). I have two completely separate insurances for vision and she kept trying to bully me into using my medical and refusing to use my primary vision insurance (which they do accept). This office and doctor is the biggest scam I have ever experienced. I Paid the copay before the eye exam, then spent only 5 minutes with the doctor, left without a prescription! All I got was a referral! I wasted time and money for nothing!
I would rate a zero if I could...the attitude of the receptionist and the doctor when I was there for my exam was very unprofessional. They wanted my medical insurance information and when I asked why...this seemed to trigger animosity. The doctor rushed through my exam and really just wanted me out of the chair and out of her office. I left frustrated and feeling like my concerns didn't matter.
