Diana is an exceptional trainer. Her facility is top-notch and makes training in the winter pleasant. The thing that separates Diana from other trainers we’ve worked with, is her emphasis on positive reinforcement, and helping us really communicate with our dog. Our rescued Belgian Malinois is doing great and we’re more comfortable taking her places and being in public with her. We are grateful for Diana’s advice and guidance every week.

If you’d like 100% positive-reinforcement training for your dog that is effective and enjoyable, Diana is your trainer. She’s knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and incorporates methods of training that actually work. Her online lessons were surprisingly useful. Would have gotten a lot out of the training if it had been only online. Diana is the best! She is knowledgeable, patient, and resourceful. Her classes are organized to include instruction for humans prior to the dogs. Each participant gets her undivided attention in the spacious facility. It is a long drive for us, but it is definitely worth it--plus two lane country roads are good for the soul. I highly recommend Diana Simonsen Dog Training.

Highly, highly recommend Diana. I bring our rescue pup (German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky party mix from Texas) for regular Canine Good Citizen/Life Skills classes and honestly the classes are more for me than him. Diana is all about communication and patience--her motto "train with patience, kindness and joy" is 100% true to her methodology--and this has been critical in my learning. Diana is the queen of communication, both verbal and body. Her ability to see how you and your dog are performing, or under performing as a team and suggesting solutions for ultimate success is an exhilarating experience. Her facility provides a relaxing and safe space for shy dogs like mine. I feel truly blessed to have Diana and her facility available to me and my dogs.
