I’ve had the pleasure of both buying and repairing/servicing my engagement ring at House of Diamonds on Kapiolani. After the initial purchase, Lorah Ashley has been instrumental in guiding me in the continual care of the ring. Extremely personable, Lorah understands the desire for the commitment and permanence that the ring symbolizes in the partnership. I wholeheartedly recommend and suggest a visit with her, especially if it is your first time shopping for a ring.
My husband originally came to Lorah wanting to propose as a total surprise but also wanted me to be a part of the design process, so Lorah allowed him to do that by placing the diamond in a temporary setting. After the proposal, he brought me in to design the permanent ring and Lorah helped bring my vision to life. They have a section where you can pick your own natural Diamond. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the experience was unrushed, no pressure, and very personalized.
