When this was Diamond Propane it was a very good company. When it was taken over , ot went straight down the drain. I had problems with them so I switched. I was told they were going to charge me to pick up their tank. I told them to show me in original contract with Diamond where it says I have to pay to have the tank picked up. At that point they said 'well we'll do it as a courtesy'. Courtesy my butt. They knew that was a made up charge charge couldn't stick me with it. Bottom line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible customer service. If you are part of the price cap program they automatically enroll and charge you every year. I changed my service this fall and they never took the charge off the bill after they said they would. As of today you cannot reach their offices directly, you are routed to automated voice system. Once I was finally put in a queue the wait time was 98 minutes. I'm going to just pay my bill and convince as many people possible to switch service from Amerigas to another company.
The worst place to do business with over charged for propane then try charging to pick up the tank this place really sucks
We bought our home in January 2018 and created an account with Diamond. Our first bill when we ordered a fill included $600+ in overdue charges from the previous owners in the previous owners name. We are not renters and we do not have any legal responsibility to pay another person's debts. We have addressed this with the local office and were originally told that it was their mistake, and then told it was a computer system issue, and now we are receiving collection calls and letters. Is there a negative option. This company is so unprofessional and their customer service is terrible especially Tracy. They are so difficult to work with. I cant wait until my term expires!
