The location is spectacular. The staff were nice and professional. The rooms were not well maintained.
Absolutely gorgeous there. But way too many spiders, my second time there and I'll probably never go back!
Beware that the studio units have no closets, hooks or luggage racks, so you end up putting your suitcase either on the floor or on one of the two chairs!! Otherwise decent but dated. Showers only, no tub
It's always fun to stay at the lodge and enjoy the boat rental options they have at the marina. The little beer garden setup is pretty slick too. Wish the beer cart would open sooner, but that's probably for the better. Great food that you can enjoy inside or out. Mosquitos are a thing. They seem to be worse on the warmer days. During our stay for the 4th we had a few cooler days and mosquitos were barely around on those days. I'd say anything below 70 was nice as there were way less bugs. Anything above 80 was rough.
