Diamond J is a very unprofessional company. Work is spotty, it’s done by unsupervised labor. They have a rule where you are not allowed to talk to the labor. We ended up ignoring that because there were so many mistakes and resolve to Diamond J was about why it was not their fault. Communication is a very large problem for everyone involved. Diamond J deviated significantly from the engineered drawings using lighter and fewer structural members than specified. Workmanship was poor.
The screws were rusting on my 4 year old metal building in Port O’Connor Texas, I called Diamond J to see what could be done. The response was quick and positive, LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THEY DID NOT BUILD THE BUILDING, but that did not deter Andrew or the staff at Diamond J. I knew better than talk to the original builder for the same response that was always given, oh well live and learn. Diamond J recently built a Barn/Garage on our property in Goliad. I highly recommend them if you are needing a metal building. Andrew, our project manager, was always available for questions and kept the lines of communication open. I am very happy with the results and will go to Diamond J again if I need more construction.
