I went in for small knotless braids in which I was quoted $200. I had no problem with that. The front of my hair is perfect (small like I asked) and the back is hideous! The braids are 3x larger than the front. I spoke with the owner, sent her pictures, and she offered to refund me $30. That is not enough for the rush job that was done by the braided who did the back! I tipped both of the women $20 each to only look at the back and see the large braids! Seated promptly, was able to make an appointment(which is what made me come here from 2 hours away), braids dont look like inspo pic but its parted nicely and neatly braided(reason for stars), but i get home to fully inspect and the ends aren’t braided all the way and it was cut kinda choppy. Guess its my fault for not checking google reviews and just going off the ig page photos. Skip the $200 special and go somewhere else or make sure you fully inspect the work. Don’t go there. They will try to charge you whatever they want, if you disagree with the price, they’ll start talking shit about you in their language (that you don’t understand, of course). Then after they agree on your proposed price, they’ll do a bad job on the braids (on purpose) and act like they don’t see the issue when you’re pointing to the globs of gel all over your head.
I’m going to be honest this was my first time experiencing this kind of unprofessional service and let me just say not a good look whatsoever. I discovered them by tiktok/ instagram and it looked nice so i decided to come in … My appointment was at 1:30… braiding on my head didn’t start til 2:39 …. the first braider took a total of 7 hours of braiding just 85% percent of my head then left due to some uncomfortablies and wanted change wear and never came back after 15 mins …. 2 more braiders decided to come over after i was l... read more
