ouuuu I miss this place. I use to go here every Saturday with my parents after Saturday school to pick up some goodies. It's another delicious Chinese bakery which specializes in cakes, but they great amount to pick from. I usually get the egg tart, which you have to try if you're open to new foods. The cakes here are like any others that you'll find at a Chinese bakery: light, fluffy, moist, and you can't ever have enough.

Above Average Chinese Bakery Pretty good here. A lot of the old stand-bys. They also do a lot of American baked goods - napoleons, fruit tarts, tiramisu. And they are well-known for their cakes. I'm a pretty simple guy - I just look for a curry bun and I'm happy. The nice thing, unlike other Chinese bakeries, is that during the summer they also make boba milk teas. Not anything to write home about, but it's nice to not have to make an extra stop.

Not as impressive as some of the others It seems that over the years, the quality of baked goods at Diamond Bakery has diminished. When I was younger, my mother would buy loaves of breads and specialty buns (like those filled with pineapple/condensed milk/other fillings) as a treat for us. But I've found that some of their breads are hard and not as soft and luxurious as I used to enjoy them. Also I daresay that their ice creams are definetely too expensive and I would rather go to Baskin Robbins than buy their cakes.
