I returned back after oil change to get the brakes and front struts on my 2009 Benz S550 with dealer parts at 1/2 the labor time. Their promo on struts was $99 each - absolutely amazing deal. The shop gave me good service on wheel alignment which typically I use to pay $129 elsewhere but at diagnostics they charged $79 -surprisingly a great deal. My Volkswagen Jetta broke down on freeway, got towed over to Auto-plaza around 6pm. Nearly all shops here had closed and I was gonna be stuck i thought. I saw Diagnostics Unlimited as they were winding down. Meeting the guys who work here was truly the height of customer service I felt. They went out of their way to diagnose. Even gave me a loaner car. Next day I got a call from Boby that there was nothing wrong with my car and the battery had not enough charge. 2005 Ford Escape would not start sometimes and ran rough when it did start. Got a package for diagnostics and found faulty coils and computer related problems. Jose and Sergie did a great job at fixing issues. I wish Ford would fix the computer issues on this model though.
I have a 1990 Jaguar xj6 and my car was still running rough after I changed oil, filter, spark plug wires in santa clara. I was told it needed more work and I did not feel like spending any more. I searched Groupon and ran into Diagnostics Unlimited. I took my car for a diagnosis second opinion, had to wait a bit, as the place was full of cars. I have always taken my cars to them they always check the car out completey and find things wrong that I was unaware of they drive me home and pick me up or give me a loaner in my eyes they are number one in my book and I will always bring my car to them they have very food cutover service
Mechanic shop to avoid – Based on their initial estimate, I agreed to get my car service done. They kept bringing up new issues and defects in the car requiring longer service time and higher charges. I finally stopped agreeing to further repairs. I then took my car to the dealer for the remaining items they had recommended me to replace. The dealer found nothing wrong with those parts. I was also not impressed by the unprofessional dealings of their staff including the owner. I would not recommend taking the car there.
Great Customer Service be on the call ! – Service was outstanding and knowledgeable. Staff was very helpful with timely updates and explanations. The service manager save the parts that got replace and showed them to me with out me asking! They give my a ride to my office in Redwood city and pick me up when the car was finshed. I'm glad this facility was recommeded to me being new to area and not knowing any place to go. Two thumbs way up!
